Argos click and collect allows you to pay for your order online and collect in-store. Hence, to be able to use this service, all you have to do is:
- Place Your Order
Visit argos.co.uk to sign in to your Argos account. Then select your preferred item(s) and head to the checkout page.
- Select A Collection Point
Finished adding item(s) to your trolley? Then head to your trolley, go to the checkout page and pick the click and collect delivery option and select your preferred collection point. Your preferred collection point can be Argos stores.
Argos stores inside Sainsbury’s or other collection points can be found inside some Sainsbury’s stores. Argos has a total of 883 shops across the UK, thereby giving you a variety of options for your pickup to ensure optimum convenience.
- Pay Online
After completing your order, you will be expected to pay for your order online, just like the regular Click & Collect service.
- Confirmation Text or Email
When your order is ready for pick up, you will be sent a confirmation email or text containing your collection reference and pickup location. You will need to have this email or text when you go to collect your order.
- Collect Your Order
Once you have gotten the email or text telling you that your order has arrived, you can now head to the store to pick up your order.
You will need to go to your collection point with your confirmation text or email as it contains your order details (a reservation number or an order number and collection code).
Arrived at your chosen collection point? Head to the dedicated collection counter within the store to pick up your item.
If you paid for your order using your Argos card, you would be required to present the card when you are collecting your order. This is an attempt at verifying your identity and protecting your account.
Are All Argos Products Available for Click And Collect?
No, not all Argos products are eligible for the click and collect option. This is simply because some of the products have to be delivered to your house, especially when they are too big. These products will be labeled “Home delivery only” on the online store.
From the time you get the email or text containing your order reference, the Argos store will hold your order for seven days. However, you can extend this hold for another seven days, all you need to do is head to your account on the online store to request for an extension.
Furthermore, all orders can only be picked up during the store’s opening hours. Most Argos stores in the UK are always opened from 8 am to 9 pm on Mondays to Fridays, and 9 am to 8 pm on Sundays. However, to be sure, you can use the store locator on the online store.
